Why has PWD used NetObjects Fusion [NOF] to build this site?

The answer is quite simple:

Normally, we build them ‘by hand’ from our own templates created over the years. However, in this instance, we wanted to see just how NOF would cope with our demands. 

We are still determining just how well it is / is not coping with the demands that we have.

This does not mean that we build everyone’s like this, there comes a time when you have to see just how things work.

Of course, if you want your site built with NOF, we will be glad to accommodate your needs

At the time of publishing this page on PWD. this is the first and only site that has been built by PWD using NOF and, as mentioned earlier, we need to see how it copes with our demands, with regard to:

• Ease of alterations
• including the simplicity of changing one piece on a regular basis
• Simplicity of the programme
• Ease of navigation after alterations
• Ease of adding new pages to site and how much needs to be uploaded when one new page has been added
• Simplicity of adding pages and sub-pages
• How pleasing the site looks / works with alterations
• How the site copes with other browsers - including older ones
• How the site works in general
• Numerous other criteria - too many to include
